Irish Sport - Rugby & Football - (Jun 12 2013) Congratulations to Ireland Rugby team who defeated the US 15-12 yesterday in Houston Texas. This was a very young Irish team as most seniors members are touring Australia with the Lions. I was very impressed with the US team as it is a minority sport but the commitment from the players and the fantastic home support really impressed.
Hard luck to the Irish football team who were beaten by reigning world champions Spain 2-0 in New York also yesterday Tuesday 12th June. The best team won but the Irish team battled well and were unlucky to have a “goal” disallowed in the 83rd minute when the score was just 1-0. Again there was a great atmosphere at the game with both huge Spanish and Irish support. Free Competition time! - (Jun 05 2013) Competition time!
